Land-locked Munich, Germany has a fun, little wave to surf. It’s located in the Eisbach River, running through the heart of Munich. Eisbach, German for “ice brook” or “icy river” was made by a few German Enginieers wanting to create natural ebbs and flows on a small portion of the river. This river, in which rarely hits 60 F, has created a fun wave that was recently made legal to surf in 2010 by the city of Munich. Below, you can see where this wave is located and I’ve also included a few videos to check out, enjoy!
